Yes, we charge a Service Fee to both Hosts and Renters. We do this so we can provide you with a bunch of great benefits.

Renter Fee

We charge Renters a fee of 20% (incl. VAT) of the total booking value for monthly rolling bookings. The fee is 25% (incl. VAT) for hourly bookings. The fee is always included in the price you see, so you don’t need to worry about hidden fees.

Benefits of the Renter Fee

The fee is used to provide you with a variety of services such as:

  • Automated payments
  • Host ID verification
  • Insurance of up to £1,000 for your stuff while it’s in storage with one of our Hosts
  • Contract framework for bookings
  • 6 days a week customer support

Host Fee

It’s completely free to list your space. Plus, you’re always in control of your earnings, as you can set exactly how much you’d like to make from your listing when creating it. Find out more about how much you can earn from your space.

We charge Hosts a small fee of 5% (incl. VAT) that’s deducted from your gross earnings for each booking. Your gross earnings are calculated by deducting the Renter Fee from the total price paid by the Renter.

Benefits of the Host Fee

The fee is used to provide a range of services such as:

  • Guaranteed payments
  • Automated payment processing
  • Chasing late payments
  • 6 days a week customer support
  • Contract framework for bookings
  • Renter ID verification on all storage bookings
  • Insurance of up to £1,000 for Renters’ items while they’re stored in your space
