Why do I need to verify my account?

We ask both Hosts and Renters to verify their Stashbee account.
ID verification helps us to keep the platform safe and secure, ensuring that we only connect with real users who are genuinely interested in finding or renting out a space.
Our ID checks are securely run by our partners Onfido and we don’t store ID photo uploads on our servers. You will only have to verify your account once.

As a Renter, the photo upload of your ID will never be shared with your Host.
For Hosts, verification also allows you to enjoy the benefits we offer, as well as receive payouts for any bookings you receive.
