Advice for Hosts on how they can cancel an enquiry or a confirmed booking

Cancelling a booking enquiry

You can cancel an enquiry at any time before it becomes a confirmed booking directly from your Booking dashboard.

Remember

A booking is confirmed once the Renter has put down a payment and you’ve accepted the request. Only payment is required to confirm an Instant Booking.


Cancelling a confirmed booking

If your Monthly booking has been confirmed but you’re no longer able to take it, you can cancel up until 11:59pm on the day before the start date.

For Hourly bookings, you can cancel up until the start time of the booking.

Confirmed bookings can’t be cancelled after their start date. If you do need to cancel after the start date, you will need to give notice to end the booking.

Last-minute cancellations can be very disruptive for our Renters, so we’ll ask you to provide a reason for the cancellation.

Remember

If you cancel multiple confirmed bookings, this may impact your Host score and we might have to take your listing down.
