Deductions from a deposit will be taken in specific circumstances. These include:
- If a final invoice has not been settled. For example, if we couldn’t charge your card when the invoice was due, the balance will be taken from your deposit
- When a key, fob or permit has been lost and the Host needs to fund the cost of a replacement
- Circumstances where damage has been done to the space
- We had to clear the Host's space of any items you left after the booking ended
In the event of damage deductions, these claims will be communicated to you before any deductions are made, giving you time to respond and provide supporting information.
